Any specific place you’d recommend? I’ll be driving through there between Christmas and New Year and might need a place (as in: city) to stay that offers some sightseeing potential as well. More specifically: Vosges du Nord.

I spent most of my time in Colmar. I couldn’t get a table at the Michelin star restaurants, but a little place called Le Petit Bidon was fantastic.

my moms side is mostly from a town that was founded by Alsatians. Its kinda the funny going through family history the very weird combination of French and German names.
